Tim and Amy Godard - West Addison Acres - Beef Farm Vermont

Our Story

In 2010, we bought our first 13 acres next to family in West Addison, VT. We are located in the Champlain Valley nestled between mountain ranges. Snake Mountain is to our east, and Lake Champlain and the NY Adirondacks to our west.

In 2015, West Addison Acres started taking shape when we attended the Vermont Beef Producers Annual Spring Auction and purchased a few yearlings. In 2016, we purchased our Registered Angus Bull. The following spring we had our first two Angus babies. We knew that we wanted to expand our herd, so in 2017 we purchased another 13 acres adjacent to our land. We also purchased a few more yearlings, and our herd continued to expand.

As a very small beef operation, we also have jobs off the farm to help support our farm.

Tim Godard - Farmer/Godard Trucking - AKA Batman. Tim drives truck for many local farmers. He hauls haylage, corn silage, hay bales, and sawdust. When he’s not driving truck, he’s making sure the water tubs are full or bringing the Angus another wagon of feed.

Amy Godard - Farmer/Registered Nurse - Amy works at two of the local hospitals and is also a summer camp nurse. When she’s not working, she is checking mineral tubs or mending fences.
